gambling online FAQ
Do you think the government will legalize online gambling soon to help the economy?
Apr 09, 2011 by Skywarn storm spotter MAN-477A | Posted in Law & Ethics
Why is it currently illegal to gamble online? Sources?
In the USA, the problem is legal regulation. In a brick and mortar business, the state gaming people can examine the machines to determine if the house is cheating. In electronic gambling, there is no way to determine if the game is "fair".

Would legalizing online gambling in CA increase the number of gamblers?
Apr 17, 2011 by brad | Posted in Politics
Would legalizing online gambling in CA increase the number of gamblers, or would it just make it easier for those who already do it legally? Give your opinion and preferably back it up with some sort of evidence. Thanks.
It would most definitely increase the numbers. I feel a significant percentage of the population chooses to abide by the law, more so out of fear from getting into trouble really. Kinda like the speed limit, we all feel we can go faster safely, yet

How does online gambling work, and how do I get started?
Apr 03, 2011 by tee | Posted in Gambling
The game I'm looking to play is No Limit Texas Hold'em Poker. What are good sites to play on that don't scam you? I've heard some complaints about Fulltilt and heard Pokerstars was good. And how do I get started; how does this whole thing work?
The only complaints you heard about Full Tilt were from losing players.
If you hear yourself starting to complain about the "bad beats" that you get, just remember that only BAD PLAYERS complain about bad beats. If you consistently

What legalities are involved in online gambling?
Mar 31, 2011 by Social Tiger | Posted in Law & Ethics
I'm just wondering, what legalities are involved with this concept;
Basically a forum/website where tournaments are held for games such as call of duty & halo, where people pay an entry fee for a chance at a large portion of the pot.
You will have to have it hosted off shore as the US does not allow online gambling. Any money sites you find are hosted off shore in places like the Turks and Cacoes islands.
