    Help Me Find a Motherboard (Everyone can help!)?

    So, I need some help in finding the right motherboard for me. The list below shows what I have figured out so far and were I need help. This computer will be for gaming and running on an AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor. All help is appreciated!

    Ok one thing at a time.

    AM3, yeah get that.

    CPU type doesn't much matter as long as the socket is right.

    FSB yes it does matter, 2600 is good-er.

    Chipset - Don't worry about it

    Buy a socket AM3 motherboard and the DDR3 memory is a given. Do not get a Socket AM3/AM2+ motherboard, as those do have a lower performance rating.

    I like ASUS and Gigabyte brand motherboards for reliability. All of them in the ATX

    upgrading my pc need compatible parts?

    Im looking to upgrade my PC, mainly the Graphics card and anything you point out which is in need of upgrading.. Im hopefully upgrading so I am able to game on this as im lookig forward to D3 and ive been told this PC will be not very good.

    first thing I noticed was that you have 2048Mb (2Gb) of usable memory yet you have a reported 3Gb installed, what OS are you running? Ideally you want the 64 bit version of Windows (preferably W7 but Vista works quite well in 64 bit)

    Your motherboard has a PCI-E slot in it, so any video card that requires a PCI-E slot (PCI-E x16 or PCI-E 2.0) will work. If you're on a budget, I would recommend getting either a HD4670 or a HD5750.
