    I have a computer i built myself. It has a onboard sound card, which has about 6 different 3.5mm jacks of various colors. I also have a bunch of speakers that use red and back speaker wires, and want to hook them up to my pc. What will i need besides

    You need amplifiers. A Stereo receiver is fine for just two. For more, you could look into mini-amplifiers, build some kits, or liberate the amplifiers from an HTIB system which the DVD part has failed.
