    just wondering, but my friend seems to think no matter what, that in black jack if you gain 5 cards without going 'bust' you automatically win even if say someones made 21 with a king, eight and three.
    Is he right that gaining 5 cards without going

    It's more like a house rule than anything else. It isn't in the rules of blackjack. Some casinos might have a 5 card rule, but others might have a 6 card rule. However, it isn't "official".
